Biography
The Brightside are an acoustic party band with an extensive repertoire and vast experience. Their blend of acoustic guitars, harmony vocals and percussion delivers classic songs in a light, bright and easy way - ideal for any party, wedding or function.

Members of the band have over 20 years of live experience under their belts – literally thousands of shows. They have performed in the best hotels, Premiership Rugby clubs, top venues and festivals (including Glastonbury & Womad) all over the UK and Europe.

Over the years members of The Brightside have worked with a range of well known artists such as the Sugababes, Neneh Cherry, Duran Duran, Lulu, Massive Attack and Rolf Harris, as well as in West End shows such as the Lion King.

On the night
The Brightside can customize their sets to suit your needs, providing a range of different sets for your function. They can for example play 2 one hour sets, 3 forty five minutes sets or 4 forty minute sets during your event – and they can include more laid back sounds at the start of the event and more up tempo songs for later.

During any breaks in live music they can provide backing music that suit your needs (clients can provide their favourite tracks on iPod that can be played during breaks). The band need about 4 x 5 metres of space to set up in and bring their own PA and lights. They can be set up to play in less than an hour.

Volume
Because The Brightside are an acoustic band they are perfect for smaller venues and venues that have sound limiters (increasingly commonplace), but they can adapt perfectly to playing anywhere and have successfully played at garden parties.
